Biography - Ms Takondwa Bakuwa

​Takondwa Bakuwa is a Malawian physiotherapist working as a lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES). Her research interest is in the field of community child health care. She is currently conducting a doctoral study looking at the “implementation of a caregiver-led training programme for caregivers of children with cerebral palsy in rural Malawi”. Her vision is to contribute to the quality of healthcare service delivery in Malawi and the African region. She aspires to conduct relevant research that optimises the use of the available resources for rehabilitation and public health.
