Biography - Donna Le Roux-Jacobs

Donna has been involved in the Physiotherapy management and treatment of children with disabilities in low resource settings for the last 18 years. She has worked at institutions in both the education and health sector, in the Western Cape. Research interests include Paediatric traumatic brain injury, disability in low-to-middle income settings and health systems strengthening.

Current positions:
PhD candidate (University of Cape Town), nested in the Neurosurgery Division at Red Cross War Memorial Children‘s Hospital.
Member of the African Brain Child (ABC) Research group, assisting with biomarker
research.
Group facilitator, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Cape Town Locum Physiotherapist, Faircape Tokai, Tokai Physiotherapy Inc.
